Chapter 6: The Space Quiz Competition

Excitement buzzed through Starville School as the announcement of the first-ever Space Quiz Competition was made. "It's open to all students, and the theme is 'Journey Through the Solar System'," announced Mrs. Jensen. Stephen and Sabrina's hearts leaped with joy. This was their chance to shine.

They signed up immediately and began preparing. Every evening, after their homework was done, they quizzed each other. "What's the tallest mountain in the solar system?" Sabrina would ask. "Olympus Mons on Mars!" Stephen would answer without missing a beat.

As the competition day approached, they felt nervous but ready. The school hall was packed with students, teachers, and parents. The quiz began, and question after question, Stephen and Sabrina answered confidently, their hands shooting up before anyone else's.

However, midway through the quiz, they stumbled upon a tough question. "Which spacecraft was the first to fly past Jupiter?" The room went silent. Stephen and Sabrina looked at each other, uncertainty in their eyes. They had studied this, but under the pressure, their minds went blank. Seeing their hesitation, Billy, whom they had helped with the Jupiter project, whispered a hint from his seat. "Remember the giant red spot!" Instantly, it clicked. "Pioneer 10!" Stephen exclaimed, and the answer was correct.

The competition continued, and thanks to their teamwork, knowledge, and a little help from a friend, Stephen and Sabrina won. They learned that success isn't just about what you know; it's also about supporting and being supported by others. That night, as they celebrated their victory with their family, they realized that the journey to achieving dreams is filled with challenges, but with perseverance, teamwork, and a little help from friends, any challenge can be overcome.
